Independent Living Units (Resident Funded Units)

Narrogin Cottage Homes have 29 Independent Living Units (ILU's) (also known as Resident Funded Units or RFU's) within our independent village community. Beautiful landscaped gardens and pathways surround these units.

These modern units are all duplex style and when available require a long-term occupancy lease arrangement called 'Lease for Life' upon payment of an entry premium. Units are upgraded to 'as new condition' prior to the occupancy of each new tenant.

All units contain:

  • Rear courtyard with clothes line
  • Carport with large storage cupboard
  • Gas heating/reverse cycle air-conditioning
  • Window treatments (blinds and curtains)
  • Standard utility services

Information on the value of the Premiums returned upon vacancy can be obtained from our Property Manager or Administration office.

MAINTENANCE FEES

A monthly Management Fee is applied to cover building insurance, water and sewerage rates, maintenance and other operation fees. These are available upon request.

Residents are also responsible for utility consumables such as gas and electricity for their unit.

OTHER

The Board of Management is responsible for all rates, taxes, normal repairs and insurance on all properties of Narrogin Cottage Homes. All water is provided free of charge to our tenants.

Narrogin Cottage Homes does not permit SMOKING or the keeping of PETS within any of its units.
